The annual Seaweed Around The Clock, hosted by Biomarine, was a fantastic telethon with 24h of panel discussions on everything seaweed. From regions to product to solutions, content and experts varied with each session. A panel dedicated to innovation in the digital scene was equally featured, with Sea Green’s COO Fred Puckle Hobbs as moderator.
“Gen’ Digital Seaweed” brought together Rachelle Jensen from Luminis Water Technologies, Alistair Douglas, from Eachmile, Ekaterina Petukhova from CFC Global, and finally Ewan McAsh from Oceanfarmr. With everybody’s backgrounds in utilizing data as a backbone for various solutions – whether it’s for water health analysis, connectivity, financial services – the discussion was rich with professional insight on diverse approaches to data mapping and its potential end-case uses.
